Key Responsibilities :
Project Design & Development
Perform detailed design tasks, including heat loss / gain calculations, ventilation and exhaust systems, equipment selection, and hydronic system analysis.
Ensure compliance with mechanical, building, and energy codes.
Draft designs using Revit and / or AutoCAD.
Collaborate with architects, general contractors, and stakeholders to ensure project alignment.
Contribute to process improvements within the design team.
Project Administration
Manage submittals and RFIs, ensuring timely responses and resolution.
Communicate project schedule updates to senior management.
Delegate tasks to designers and engineers to optimize team performance.
Quality Control
Provide training and mentorship to designers and engineers.
Attend manufacturer-led training sessions and stay updated on industry standards.
Conduct site visits to ensure quality and adherence to project specifications.
Staff Development
Lead training initiatives for junior team members.
Participate in hands-on site visits and technical skill-building opportunities.
Foster a collaborative and supportive team environment.
Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) required.
Professional Engineer (PE) license required.
10 years of experience in mechanical design and construction.
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Experience mentoring and training junior staff preferred.
Ability to manage priorities, work effectively under pressure, and maintain professionalism in all interactions.
