IT Technician

Hello Eningeers,

We need Deskside support Techs for Dispatch activities in 120 POLAND SPRING DRIVE, KINGFIELD, MAINE, 04947, USA , Job descriptions are below:

Onsite staging scope:

• When FE onsite, he needs to retrieve the router from site POC.
• FE unbox the package, check based on the BOM list. ( FE needs to procure power cords with local US standard and used for this site).
• FE rack mount the device to available rack space and label the device. — always get site POC approval on any activities, as they are site owner.
• FE need to connect USB to the router, and push for IOS upgrade.
• FE need to load base config to the router. Config file will be provided by Singtel technical team in detailed runbook.
• After IOS and config loading, FE needs to put in several commands to router, to test on the config as well generate staging logs. ( commands will be provided by Singtel technical team in runbook)
• FE needs to share the staging logs to Singtel technical team(TD) via email for their verification.
• FE need to capture the existing/old SD WAN devices in the site which is planned for migration.(Device model, SN, hostname, WAN link port connection, LAN port connection, Rack id, rack unit , wan circuit id.). All these information needs to be recorded in service report.— always get site POC approval on any activities, as they are site owner. Do not disconnect/change any cables from existing devices.
• FE may take photo of the required details, with POC upfront approval.
• Once staging logs verified by Singtel TD, they will release FE from the site. Please clean up the site, get customer sign on the service report with BOM list, and share the service report within 24 hours.

Tools required:

• Working laptop
• Cisco console cable
• USB in FAT32 format (must be in FAT32 format), and downloaded ALL the IOS files ( to avoid FE download the wrong file)
• Screw drivers and pliers
• 4G/5G mobile connection
• Label printer

Software required:

• AnyDesk - remote access tool
• Putty - terminal platform to router
• ZOOM - remote access tool
• Teams - meeting and remote access tool
• WhatsApp on mobile - customer will use WhatsApp group chat as main communication with FE. (Please confirm if the assigned engineer is using WhatsApp? so I could invite him into activity WhatsApp group.)

There won't any meeting bridge for staging activity. most of the communication will be via WhatsApp.

Singtel remote engineer will only activate meeting bridge if necessary (when staging logs / or FE having issues in staging process)

Job Types: Contract, Temporary, Temp-to-hire

Pay: $183.41 - $220.88 per day
