What are the responsibilities and job description for the LPN/EMT position at Fieldale Farms / Springer Mtn. Farms?
- Perform pre-employment evaluations including hearing and vision screening
- Maintains records of employees treated, prepares accident investigation reports and other related documentation.
- Follows established guidelines for treatment, referral and worker's compensation
- Take vital signs, treat wounds and evaluates physical condition of the injured employee
- Contacts physicians and hospital to arrange for further medical treatment
- Instructs employee programs such as health education, first aid, AED, CPR
- Must be able to work with minimum supervision, self motivated to assist in other tasks as they arise
Requirements
- 1st shift, Mon. - Fri. 8:00am to 4:00pm
- Must be flexible with schedule hours in order to fill in on other shifts when necessary.
- Some Saturdays on occasion
- Must be a licensed LPN or licensed EMT
- Applicants must be at least 18 years of age
