What are the responsibilities and job description for the Plant Maintenance (protein conversion) position at Fieldale Farms / Springer Mtn. Farms?
Responsibilities:
- Maintain, repair and replace industrial equipment daily
- Perform preventative maintenance per required schedule
- Assist with parts inventory
- Support plant operations when needed
- Clean and organize maintenance shop, and parts cage
- Complete all maintenance tasks assigned by supervisor
- Think and Work with a Safety First attitude
Requirements:
- Skilled in electrical, mechanical
- Troubleshooting skills in basic 110 to 480 volt systems
- 2 years of experience with production machinery and use of power tools
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Able to work 2nd and or 3rd shift
- Flexible to work other shifts and hours when needed
- Use of PPE
Starting rate is based on skill level test scores - $22 - $30
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
