Job Description:
The General Laborer is responsible for supporting the delivery, installation, and operation of clients equipment at service centers or customer job sites. This role ensures a clean, organized work environment and prioritizes safety throughout all tasks. Work involves dewatering, primarily with construction companies, municipalities, and sewage treatment facilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Delivery & Yard Maintenance:
Verify delivery and pickup items with customers, inspect equipment, and secure necessary paperwork.
Safely load/unload equipment using motorized machinery; secure loads following DOT guidelines.
Maintain clean yard areas and properly organize equipment and accessories.
Installing and removing pumps, hoses, and piping
Follow all safety protocols and complete Job Safety Assessments.
Installation & Operation:
Travel locally to install/dismantle pump systems and pipelines per specifications.
Operate HDPE fusion machines, ensuring proper installation and weather-related adjustments.
Work independently or with a team to handle systems and pipelines.
Communicate with customers and team, prepare work orders, and ensure system functionality.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
1-2 years of construction experience (preferred).
Valid driver's license and clean driving record; must be 21 years old and meet DOT driving age requirements.
CDL preferred; ability to drive an F150 truck.
Experience with flatbed trailers, load securement, and industrial equipment operation.
Prior experience fusing HDPE pipe ranging from 2 inch to 48 inch
Basic mechanical skills and computer proficiency
