Painter

FieldBridge Energy seeks Painter to work in Pewaukee , WI for a global water technology company.

Pay / Schedule: $22 - $25/hr (DOE). 2nd shift - 2:30 pm - 11 pm OT Opportunity. At 50 hours per week and $25/hr, earn weekly paychecks of up to $1,375 gross.

We are seeking a skilled painter to join our 2nd shift team. Under the supervision of the team lead, you will be responsible for preparing, sandblasting, and applying protective and decorative finishes to products. This includes formulating, testing, and mixing liquid coatings to meet specific requirements.

Core responsibilities and tasks:

• Follow all workplace safety policies and product quality guidelines.
• Prepare surfaces for painting, including sanding, cleaning contaminants, and taping areas not to be painted.
• Read and interpret paint specifications and product data sheets from various manufacturers.
• Select, mix, and apply paint according to specifications.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area, ensuring paint equipment and tools are in good working condition.
• Contribute to team goals and overall company performance.
• Ensure customer needs and expectations are met efficiently.

Required qualifications:

• Education: High school diploma or GED.
• Knowledge and experience:
• Familiarity with conventional painting techniques in manufacturing.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical manuals, and schematics.
• Dependability and the ability to work effectively under pressure, both independently and as part of a team.
• Must pass a yearly pulmonary function test.

Preferred qualifications:

• Experience in a manufacturing job shop environment.

Physical requirements:

• Ability to sit, stand, hear, and see consistently.
• Ability to walk, write, and type frequently.
• Lift and carry up to 30 pounds frequently; up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Climb stairs, bend, reach, push, and pull occasionally.
• Exposure to varying temperatures (0 to 120 degrees), dust, and noise requiring hearing protection.
• Work surfaces may include concrete.
• Operate a computer and communicate via telephone as needed.

Experience:

• 1-3 years of experience in a similar role.
