Pay/Schedule: $30/hr. M-F, 7 - 4:00 pm the possibility of OT.
Job description: Primarily an office setting with occasional access to the warehouse for equipment inspections. Safety gear, including a vest, hard hat, eye protection, and steel-toe boots, will be required.
Forklift operation may be required as needed.
The role involves using the Rental Results system.
Preference will be given to candidates with equipment rental and customer service experience
Responsibilities:
- Manage inbound phone calls, online inquiries, and customer walk-ins
- Perform operations and logistics tasks, including scheduling technicians, deliveries, and equipment
- Collaborate closely with customers and branch staff to resolve issues
- Process customer requests for rental quotes, order placement, and documentation via phone, in person, or email
- Answer product questions and direct inquiries to the appropriate service or sales personnel
- Enter orders and coordinate delivery to sites per the agreement, including understanding freight terms
- Handle contract renewals, maintenance, and modifications, including supporting contract additions and reviewing autorenewals
- Complete rental processes, schedule product pick-up, and prepare paperwork for customer sign-off
- Assist service technicians with work orders, pulling parts, and processing repairs
- Support branch staff by compiling metrics and ensuring timely customer request completion
- Maintain accurate billing and time entries for service projects
- Obtain payment details and process payments for service orders
- Ensure all operations, including part numbers, are added to service orders
- Promote a safe working environment and foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and empowerment
- Demonstrate the ability to work independently or in a team with direct supervision
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent with 2 years of relevant work experience
- Forklift certification preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite and possesses strong math skills
- Ability to troubleshoot logical processes and basic knowledge of circuit testing
- Capable of executing tasks with medium autonomy; requires limited guidance for complex tasks
- Strong collaborative skills to work with various disciplines
- Strong organizational skills and ability to understand execution concepts
- Understanding of general business concepts
- Effective communication skills within teams
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with ERP systems
- Basic understanding of IT business tools
In this role, the shop working environment may include outdoors, weather extremities, use of PPE, exposures to hazardous material, loud noise, etc. and the physical demands may include but not limited to {regularly sitting, standing, lifting up to 50 lbs.
