Fields Han Cunniff PLLC is seeking a Contract Document Review Attorney to assist in a high-profile litigation matter, Cherokee Nation v. Morris & Dickson. This role is expected to begin in April 2025 and will primarily involve document review and analysis. We are looking for a candidate that will transition to supporting our trial team after the document review is completed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct document review for relevance, privilege, confidentiality, and key legal issues using Relativity.
- Maintain accuracy and efficiency in reviewing high volumes of documents under time-sensitive deadlines.
- Identify and categorize documents for production, privilege logs, and trial preparation.
- Provide summaries and analysis of key findings.
- Assist with deposition preparation, exhibit selection, and trial strategy.
- Follow litigation protocols and quality control measures.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited U.S. law school.
- Must live in either New York City or Los Angeles, CA.
- Active bar membership in good standing in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
- Experience with Relativity is required.
- Prior document review experience in litigation, particularly in large-scale or complex cases, is preferred.
- Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
- Trial support experience is a plus.
Position Details:
- Duration: Contract position, expected to begin in April 2025.
- Location: Remote, with in-person meetings as needed and the possibility of on-site trial support in Oklahoma in Spring 2026.
- Compensation: Hourly, commensurate with experience.
