We are seeking a highly skilled Algorithms Engineering Manager to lead and drive innovation in physical modeling, machine learning, and software development for advanced metrology tools. This role involves managing multiple engineering groups focused on cutting-edge optical and x-ray metrology solutions, leveraging both AI-driven and physics-based algorithms to enhance semiconductor manufacturing processes.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage multiple engineering groups specializing in physical modeling, machine learning, and software development for metrology tools.
Oversee the development and optimization of physical modeling algorithms to enhance the accuracy and efficiency of semiconductor inspection and measurement.
Drive machine learning initiatives, integrating AI / ML techniques with physical modeling to develop robust and scalable solutions.
Develop and execute strategic roadmaps for software programs that combine physics-based modeling with AI-driven approaches.
Foster cross-functional collaboration between engineering, data science, and product teams to deliver high-performance metrology solutions.
Ensure alignment of algorithm development with business objectives, customer requirements, and industry advancements.
Manage project timelines, resources, and team performance to meet quality and efficiency targets.
Stay ahead of industry trends in AI, machine learning, and computational modeling, incorporating emerging technologies into algorithm development.
Provide mentorship and leadership, growing a high-performing engineering team.
Required Qualifications
6 years of experience in engineering leadership, managing algorithm / software development teams.
Strong background in physical modeling, machine learning, and software engineering for semiconductor or metrology applications.
Expertise in developing and implementing physics-based and AI-driven algorithms.
Proficiency in machine learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-Learn) and programming languages like Python, C , or MATLAB.
Experience with numerical simulation, data-driven modeling, and high-performance computing.
Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment and lead multi-disciplinary teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in optical and x-ray metrology for semiconductor manufacturing.
Knowledge of computational physics, deep learning, and advanced data analytics.
Background in developing software solutions for metrology, imaging, or sensor-based applications.
