THE POSITION
Main Activities and Responsibilities
Reporting organizationally to the Senior Manager, PMA Logistics, Manager, Team Logistics will play a key role in delivering the Club World Cup 2025 and FIFA World Cup 2026 tournaments. Responsibilities include:
- Serve as the primary Logistics representative for FIFA functions and external stakeholders at assigned group of venues in the designated FCWC25 Host City.
- Support the overall planning, implementation, operational process across all Team Logistics activities to achieve a seamless supply chain solution.
- Manage the effective implementations of the Team specific logistics operation plans, logistics policies and procedures, including communication and escalation protocols, relevant to the movement of teams to/from airports, team base camps, training sites and match locations.
- Liaise closely with Team Services, Security and Event Transport counter parts regarding the planning of movements of Teams throughout the duration of their tournament.
- Support the development and implementation of strategic plans for Roaming Team across all sites to ensure agreed Logistics services levels are maintained.
- Manage the Team Logistics crew overseeing health and well-being, effective motivation, setting project goals, coordinating work assignments, and evaluating performance.
- Monitor and perform quality assurance checks on temporary LOG staff and drivers and ensure they are trained in logistics policies and procedures.
- Actively participate in implementing strategic plans to fulfil FCWC25 sustainability commitments and goals.
- Actively participate in implementing Health & Safety documentation and ensure teams are adequately trained.
- Liaise with Venue Logistics on the Load in/out strategy for Roaming Team by cost effectively utilizing staff and procured/existing furniture/equipment collaborating with Logistics work streams, partners and stakeholders to deliver an integrated supply chain.
- In conjunction with Event Transport, Security, and Team Services, support the establishment of the routes for Team movements throughout the Host City footprint.
- Collaborate with Team Services representatives to schedule and dispatch according to transportation requirements.
- Track movements and directly communicate with FCWC25 Teams as required.
- Use efficient delivery methods to minimize costs and operational inefficiencies.
- Function as first point of contact for Logistics if traveling or based in an alternative location.
- Maintain daily/weekly logistics situational reporting

Experience
Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or similar level of education in Logistics, Supply Chain etc.
- Relevant experience within Major Event Logistics, planning and delivery phases etc.
- Team player with a strong customer-service focus, comfortable across all levels of communication and a desire to go the extra mile.
- Ability to present and clearly communicate to audiences in a multitude of public/private settings as required.
- Proven track record in managing complex projects, multi-tasking, and prioritization of tasks and deliverables.
- Willing to work to complex, tight, immovable timelines while maintaining a positive attitude, exhibiting patience, persistence and experience working in a multi-cultural, multi-national environment.
- Excellent analytical skills, ability to make decisions both independently and within a team environment
- Fluent in English. Spanish and/or French proficiency is a plus
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio & Project) and planning software and online collaboration tools
