Warranty Writer for RV Dealership

We are seeking an experienced warranty administrator, preferably one who has worked with one or more of the major Recreational Vehicle manufacturers. We are a Washington State RV dealer located just outside Tacoma, but we believe we can accommodate a remote position, or relocations to WA State.

We need an individual who understands the warranty process for dealer claims, and understands what the factories and manufacturers are looking for on each claim.

Job Overview
We are seeking a talented and warranty writer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for storytelling and a strong understanding of the RV industry. You will be the bridge between our technicians and the manufacturer. You will translate and communicate repair issues from our technicians to the factory representatives to get approved time for us to complete the repairs.

Responsibilities

• Develop and write high-quality content related to automotive topics, including but not limited to vehicle maintenance, automotive diagnostics, and service management.
• Conduct thorough research to ensure accuracy and relevance of information presented in written materials.
• Edit and proofread content to maintain high standards of quality and consistency.
• Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate relevant insights into writing projects.
• Work closely with subject matter experts, including service technicians and mechanics, to gather information.

Skills

• Strong writing skills with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and engaging manner.
• Knowledge of auto service management, automotive sales, vehicle maintenance, and diesel engine repair is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with customer service principles within the automotive industry.
• Experience in automotive or RV diagnostics or as a service technician is a plus.
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
• Excellent research skills and attention to detail.
• Proficiency in using various writing tools and software.

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
