GENERAL FUNCTION :
Investment banking coverage role providing corporate finance advice and strategic insights across broad spectrum of industries and capital markets solutions with the objective of deepening client relationships and enhancing commercial opportunities.
Key objectives of the role and the respective group include :
- Identification and development of capital markets opportunities within the middle market regions of Fifth Third Bank.
- Winning new bank and Fifth Third Securities relationships in the middle market.
- Enhancing and deepening existing Fifth Third relationships.
- Supporting Fifth Third commercial bankers and regional teams with capital markets and advisory education, training, knowledge, solutions, perspectives, and capabilities.
- Organizational development and leadership of a mission critical, growing group.
The role is responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues, and ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank's risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.

Responsible for providing junior staff timely, candid and constructive performance feedback, identifying and developing the appropriate talent pool to ensure adequate bench strength and succession planning, and recognizing and rewarding employees.
