Co-Ops integrate into the organization through day-to-day activities and project work. Co-Ops operate as team members on larger initiatives, but also work independently on smaller projects and tasks.

Assignment Overview
The Information Security Early Career Co-Op will be responsible for delivering and supporting the enterprise security tools and architecture developed in collaboration with the Information Security and Infrastructure teams. The Co-Op will also participate in a diverse variety of Information Security projects and support the ongoing operations of the Information Security department. The Co-Op is be focused on protecting our cloud platforms and containers with security tools/processes and clear security requirements and reducing the effort required by application and platform teams to build secure and compliant infrastructure.

The Co-Op is be focused on protecting our cloud platforms and containers with security tools/processes and clear security requirements and reducing the effort required by application and platform teams to build secure and compliant infrastructure.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Perform assignments and projects as determined by leadership.
- Serve as a security engineer on cloud projects.
- Build a network of contacts within assigned line of business or division as well as across the organization.
- Engineer and implement well-architected solutions while adhering to software development best practices.
- Effectively communicate with others, demonstrating strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Perform all work in accordance with established safety procedures.
- Support the Bank's operational information security responsibilities, including the development maintenance of standards, procedures, and guidelines necessary to satisfy the Information Security department's network operations.
- Complete assigned coursework while seeking and maintaining knowledge of current and upcoming IT security technologies.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.
Minimum Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Current enrollment (or recent completion) in accredited degreed program as a rising Junior.
- Strong academic record with a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to balance multiple assignments and be flexible.
- The capacity to learn additional software applications as required by the assignment.
- Capable of managing own time to meet established deadlines.
- Ability to demonstrate initiative/tenacity.
- Relevant internships and/or co-op program experience.
- Demonstrated proficiency with a scripting or coding language, preferably Python.
- Experience working with and supporting Unix/Linux and Windows systems.
