GENERAL FUNCTION :
- The Lead Information Security Engineer (ISE) will be responsible for defining, delivering and supporting the Customer Identity & Access Management Infrastructure, Architecture and Engineering at Fifth Third Bank. The Lead ISE will collaborate closely with others across the bank in other LOBs such as Digital, Consumer and Information Security.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Design and implement new features in a Java / J2EE microservices architecture, while continuously improving quality of technical products and applicationsWork collaboratively with other software engineers to define system architectures and design solutions to complex customer identity problemsProvide technical knowledge and leadership as a developer on an agile squadDevelop software meeting code quality standards and metricsParticipate in communities of practice by contributing to and following standards, reviewing others code, sharing knowledge, and required SDLC guidelines.Remain current on IT trends pertaining to their area of practiceAssist with problem resolution for end users and customersContribute to the definition of operational procedures for software developmentMaintain appropriate controls and documentation to ensure compliance of audit requirementsParticipate in on-call support rotationOther duties as assignedMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science / Information Systems or equivalent combination of education and work experience.Six years of engineering or other IT work experience relevant to the position.Proven Experience with Java application development plus one or more general purpose programming languages including but not limited to : Python, JavaScript, C / C , C#, or GO.Experience working with three or more of the following : web application development, Unix / Linux environments, mobile application development, distributed and parallel systems, networking, authentication / authorization and / or security software development.Interest and ability to learn other coding languages as needed.Experience deploying production applications into cloud environments such as AWS, Google Cloud or AzureStrong problem solving and collaboration skillsExcellent verbal and written communication skills in EnglishSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Knowledge of modern identity workflows (OIDC / OAuth / SAML) and how to implement them in a large system.Cloud Standard Certifications such as, but not limited to : AWS Solution Architect Associate, Google Certified Professional Cloud Architect, Azure Admin Associate, CCSP, CompTIA Cloud , AWS Solution Architect Professional is preferred.Financial industry experience is a plus.Agile Development ExperienceExperience working with Ping Directory configuration, administration and deploymentExperience working with Ping Federate, customizing PF Adapters and deploying Ping Federate in a cloud environmentExperience working with Ping Federate to setup and configure OAuth, SAML and / or OIDC clients.Lead Java DeveloperTotal Base Pay Range 80,500.00 - 169,100.00 USD AnnualLOCATION Virtual, Ohio 00000
