GENERAL FUNCTION:

Responsible for providing subject matter expert consulting to assess and identify need and develop delivery approach and materials to achieve planned business objectives and growth. Works closely with LOB Operations, Senior LOB Managers, LOB Sales Effectiveness, LOB Communications, Marketing, EPMO, Segment & Product Management, Business Banking, Card, Mortgage, Affiliate Retail Leadership teams, and other Fifth Third Bank partners to achieve desired business results.

Responsible and accountable for risk by openly exchanging ideas and opinions, elevating concerns, and personally following policies and procedures as defined. Accountable for always doing the right thing for customers and colleagues, and ensures that actions and behaviors drive a positive customer experience. While operating within the Bank’s risk appetite, achieves results by consistently identifying, assessing, managing, monitoring, and reporting risks of all types.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for the overall functioning and performance of sales and service delivery and role as subject matter experts for delivery to.
• Executes upon Delivery calendar including change scope identification and delivery checklist. Effectively uses influence and direct management to proactively manage the volume of change within the specific LOB supported.
• Coordinates with LOB Communications Manager on necessary and effective communications according to the Delivery calendar and assigned projects and processes.
• Develops new process and product introduction process with support of the LOB Sales and Service Coaching team. Works with LOB to develop tools and training to equip the sales force in partnership with LOB resources (i.e. coaches, sales effectiveness teams, etc.).
• Troubleshoot processes and provide feedback to management if a trend or market condition exists that would suggest a product or process change.
• Communicate and reinforce LOB sales, service and operational processes.
• Must understand current and changing needs of internal communication channels.
• Identify opportunities for and drive process improvement, efficiency/effectiveness and consistency.
• Fosters cooperation at every level in product, sales, marketing, and other groups as appropriate to implement the plans. Directs the development and installation of a sound plan of organization and controls. Engages Retail Operations as necessary for process design, operational review and procedures.
• Reports results, issues, and concerns to the Delivery Manager and ensures that appropriate steps are taken to correct unsatisfactory conditions.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, related field or equivalent work experience.
• 5 years of Banking experience.
• 5 years management experience.
• Strong experience at strategizing and capitalizing on all retail delivery methods.
• Strong sales performance, employing a holistic, partnership-oriented, solution-based model.
• Self-motivated with excellent business acumen and strategic thinking skills.
• Requires excellent analytical, project management, communications and presentation skills.
• Passion for customer service.
• Demonstrated ability to identify and realize new opportunities.
• Proven ability to collaborate with and present to executive management. Proficiency with personal computers as well as pertinent mainframe systems and software packages, including sales and customer relationship management tools; MS Office.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Normal office environment.
• Extending viewing of computer screens.
• Ability to travel throughout the Bancorp as needed (less than 20%).
