Job Title : Touch Up Painter
Employee Type : Full Time, Hourly
Reports to : Processing Manager
Job Location : Wichita, KS, USA
Shift Hours : 1st Shift; 6 : 00am - 2 : 30pm; Monday to Friday
Pay Rate : $16.00 - $18.00, dependent upon relative experience
Experience : 1 year experience preferred with application of primer, fuel cell and top coat
Job Duties :
- Must be able to thoroughly follow instructions and be attentive to details
- Touch up primers and top coats to Mil specs on multiple surface types
- Mask and de-mask parts as required
- Mix paints per manufactures specs
- Prep parts prior to painting including masking, sanding, and cleaning
- Complete work flow documentation thoroughly and properly
- Inspect results of paint applied
- Inspection : Knowledge of the expected response and appearance of the material being painted
- Clean and repair paint equipment and keep work area organized
- Wear proper safety equipment (PPE) and follow safety procedures at all times
- Keep work area clean
- Assist other departments as necessary
