Job Description:
As an Engineer, you will be responsible for supporting the development and optimization of HVAC systems and PTAC units. You will work closely with our design, production, and field teams to troubleshoot and improve HVAC solutions for our commercial and residential clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, test, and manufacture HVAC systems and PTAC units.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, production, and field technicians, to ensure seamless integration of engineering solutions.
Work closely with manufacturers to develop and maintain strong relationships, manage order processing, and oversee the manufacturing workflow.
Troubleshoot system issues and work proactively to identify and implement solutions.
Conduct field visits as needed to evaluate system performance and ensure installations and service meet quality standards.
Support product development initiatives, providing engineering expertise to improve the functionality, efficiency, and sustainability of systems.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, new technologies, and emerging standards in HVAC engineering.
Develop technical documentation, reports, and specifications to communicate findings and recommendations.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives, including the enhancement of internal processes and workflows.
Support team members in solving complex technical challenges and mentor junior engineers as needed.
Requirements:
At least 5 years of engineering experience, preferably in HVAC, PTAC systems, or related mechanical engineering fields.
Strong understanding of HVAC system design, operation, and troubleshooting.
Experience with manufacturing and working directly with 3rd party manufacturers.
Proficiency with engineering software and tools (AutoCAD, Revit, SolidWorks, or similar).
Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies and systems.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically to address engineering challenges.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
A proactive, self-motivated mindset with a strong desire to grow professionally and contribute to team success.
Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to HVAC systems.
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
