Figure is an AI Robotics company developing a general purpose humanoid. Our Humanoid is designed for corporate tasks targeting labor shortages and jobs that are undesirable or unsafe. We are based in Sunnyvale, CA and require 5 days / week in-office collaboration.
We are seeking a Robot Validation Engineer experienced in integration and validation of complex electromechanical systems. This person will be pivotal in integration and debugging of the full robotic system and subsystems.
Responsibilities :
- Assume a pivotal role in commissioning, validating, and troubleshooting the robot
- Maintain detailed documentation of integration processes, test procedures, and test results
- Understanding of how different subsystems (Controls, Electrical, Software, Mechanical) interact, and where they commonly have issues
- Implement corrective actions to resolve issues and prevent recurrence
- Conduct thorough testing and validation of repairs to ensure functionality and reliability
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to identify and resolve integration issues
- Provide comprehensive training and technical support to fellow team members
