Responsibilities:
- Client Assessment: Conduct fitness assessments to determine the clients' current fitness levels and develop personalized fitness plans.
- Training Sessions: lead Small group training sessions focusing on strength, conditioning, and overall fitness.
- Progress Tracking: Monitor clients' progress and adjust training programs as needed to ensure they meet their fitness goals.
- Safety: Ensure clients perform exercises safely and correctly to prevent injuries.
- Motivation and Support: Provide ongoing motivation and support to clients to help them stay on track with their fitness goals.
- Educational Workshops: Conduct workshops or seminars on fitness, nutrition, and wellness topics.
- Facility Maintenance: Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the training facility and equipment.
- Administrative Tasks: Handle administrative duties such as maintaining client records, and handling payments.
Required Work Experience:
- Practical Experience: Typically, at least 1-3 years of experience as a personal trainer or strength and conditioning coach.
- Specialized Experience: Experience working with specific populations (e.g., athletes, rehabilitation clients) can be beneficial.
- Proven Track Record: Demonstrated success in helping clients achieve their fitness goals.
Skills:
- Knowledge of Exercise Science: Strong understanding of exercise physiology, biomechanics, and kinesiology.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in various training techniques and modalities (e.g., weightlifting, HIIT, functional training).
- Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively instruct and motivate clients.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to assess clients' needs and create tailored workout plans.
- Motivational Skills: Ability to inspire and motivate clients to achieve their fitness goals.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple clients and administrative tasks.
Education:
- Certification: Certification from a recognized organization such as NASM (National Academy of Sports Medicine), ACSM (American College of Sports Medicine), NSCA (National Strength and Conditioning Association), or ACE (American Council on Exercise).
- Degree: A degree in Exercise Science, Kinesiology, Sports Medicine, or a related field is often preferred.
- CPR/AED Certification: Current CPR/AED certification is usually required.
Additional Preferences:
- Continued Education: Commitment to ongoing education and staying updated with the latest fitness trends and research.
- Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with fitness tracking software and apps can be an advantage.
- Specialized Skills: Additional skills in nutrition counseling, sports-specific training, or rehabilitation exercises can be beneficial.

Pay: From $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 8 – 12 per week
