Store Assistant Manager
A Fill-n-Chill Assistant Manager is responsible for management of the day-to-day store operations during the Store Manager’s absence and assists the Store Manager with all aspects of running the store.

Responsibilities:
- Assist Store Manager with personnel discipline with involvement of the District Manager and/or Corporate Human Resource Department.
- Proficient in opening and closing the store.
- Ensure all paperwork is completed, accurate and turned in on time.
- Assist with cash control and bank deposits.
- Assist in keeping business records - merchandise, personnel, and fuel.
- Assist in handling customer, personnel, and maintenance problems and report issues to the Store Manager.
- Assist in ensuring all merchandise and store maintenance items are properly ordered, stocked, and priced.
- Know and enforce company standards regarding store appearance and employee dress code.
- Know and enforce all company training, policies, and procedures.
- Know operations and maintenance of all equipment in the store.
- Attend management and training meetings, as required.
- Know all aspects of food operations and handling/storage of product to comply with food handling guidelines that meet or exceed state/federal regulations.
- Project a positive attitude.
- Providing friendly and competent customer service.
- Reporting to work in a timely manner when scheduled.
- Assist in other duties, as assigned.
Education and/or Experience (include certs or licenses needed):
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
· Must be over the age of 21.
· Responsible Beverage Service Training to sell tobacco and alcohol (completed on-site upon hire).
· Class C UST operator fuel certification (completed on-site upon hire).
- Food Handler’s permit or Serve Safe Certification when required by law.
- Minimum of three years’ retail experience recommended.
