What are the responsibilities and job description for the Convenience Store Manager position at Fill-n-Chill?
A Fill-n-Chill Manager is responsible for management of the entire store operation.
Fill-n-Chill Benefits:

Responsibilities:
- Directly supervises 4 to 16 employees.
- Hire, train, manage personnel (including discipline and termination) with support from the District Manager and/or Corporate Human Resource Department.
- Proficient in opening and closing the store.
- Ensure all paperwork is completed, accurate and turned in on time.
- Supervise cash control and bank deposits.
- Keep business records - merchandise, personnel, and fuel.
- Schedule employee hours within budgeted hours allotted and ensure all shifts are coved.
- Complete all Employee Evaluations in a timely manner.
- Handle customer, personnel, and maintenance problems and report to District Manager.
- Ensure all merchandise and store maintenance items are properly ordered, stocked, and priced.
- Know and enforce company standards regarding store appearance and employee dress code.
- Know and enforce all company training, policies, and procedures.
- Understand monthly budgets and P & L statements.
- Know operations and maintenance of all equipment in the store.
- Attend management and training meetings, as required.
- Know all aspects of food operations and handling/storage of product to comply with food handling guidelines that meet or exceed state/federal regulations.
- Project a positive attitude.
- Providing friendly and competent customer service.
- Reporting to work in a timely manner when scheduled.
- Assist in other duties, as assigned.
Education and/or Experience (include certs or licenses needed):
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Must be over the age of 21.
- Responsible Beverage Service Training to sell tobacco and alcohol (completed on-site upon hire).
- Class C UST operator fuel certification (completed on-site upon hire).
- Food Handler’s permit or Serve Safe Certification when required by law.
- Minimum of three years’ retail experience recommended.
