Compounder / Batch Maker Responsibility

Compounder / Batch Maker personnel are responsible for mixing and blending raw chemicals and/or materials (liquids and/or powders) to produce finished bulk products for Production by preparing batches based on product specifications.

He/She works to mix or otherwise combine ingredients to create substances based on a preset formula by sourcing materials, weighing each element, batching correctly and ensuring the proper ratios in the final product.

He/She knows and understands tanks, pumps, and filling system with a focus on safety and operation procedures. He/She performs the cleaning and sanitization of mixing kettles, storage tanks, production fillers, product transfer lines, pumps, sanitary hoses and various equipment.

Compounder / Batch Maker is responsible for the following:

· Follows all safety rules as it relates to chemical storage and manufacturing.

· Wear required PPE and works safely to avoid injury to self or others

· Cleaning tanks, pumps, hoses, etc. before and after batches per the GMP guidelines and SOP’s

· Prepare batches, according to the Batch Sheets provided. Documenting the chemicals used, Amounts used, Lot #’s, Batch #, etc. per Batch requirements.

· Maintain the chemical storage area in a safe, orderly and clean manner.

· Maintain a neat and tidy batching area while keeping tools, pumps and other equipment organized.

· Know and maintain the inventory of all chemicals. Assist with inventory of all plant materials.

· Notify maintenance of any equipment issues.

• Work Hours are Monday through Thursday from 5:30 am until 4:15 pm

Pay will be based on experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
