Job Description - Instructional Assistant Special Education
Basic Function :
Under the direction of an assigned supervisor, assist a certificated teacher in providing instruction to individual and / or small groups of students in a special education program. Monitors and reports progress regarding behavior, health, social and cognitive performance. Perform a variety of clerical and supportive duties related to program needs and classroom activities.

Assist in supervising and disciplining assigned students according to approved policies and procedures;
Education / Licenses / Experience :
Tuberculosis screening and clearance every four years.

The employee may occasionally be required to lift and / or move objects up to twenty-five (25) pounds in weight.
