What are the responsibilities and job description for the Back-Of-House Director position at Filoncino Cafe | Staten Island, NY?
- Create a positive culture with a focus on developing a high performance team
- Ensure that all restaurant policies, procedures, standards, specifications, guidelines, and training programs are followed and completed on a timely basis.
- Working alongside executive director creating budgets and forecasting for controllable costs
- Schedule BOH staff hours and assign duties.
- Investigate and resolve complaints regarding food quality, service, or accommodations with BOH staff.
- Weekly Inventory management, receiving and storing.
- Act as a role model for BOH team members showing the highest level of professionalism, cleanliness, customer service, and quality.
REQUIREMENTS
- ***PLEASE READ*** Be 21 years of age or older -Three or more years of FRONT OF HOUSE operations and/or experience as an assistant manager in the service or food and beverage industry -Work week is 5-6 days -Ability to begin work at least three days at 6am -This position entails training within every department. -Ability to handle money and operate a point-of-sale system -Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 10 hours) -Ability to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 50 pounds -Stamina and availability to work 50 to 60 hours per week
