Job Title: Cleaning Technician

Location: Santa Cruz & Monterey Counties (with travel to commercial kitchens in the area)

Salary: Starts at $22.00 per hour (after training)

Shifts: Early morning, evening, nights, weekends, and part-time options

Job Description:

As a Cleaning Technician, you will travel to various commercial kitchens on a consistent route to perform deep cleaning and maintenance tasks. Your responsibilities will include:

• Cleaning and maintaining deep fryers using specialized vacuum-based equipment.
• Managing cooking oil with microfiltration machines or removing waste oil for recycling.
• Deep cleaning commercial kitchen equipment, walls, floors, and ceilings.
• Ensuring job sites are clean, safe, and free of hazards.
• Maintaining inventory of supplies and materials on company vehicles.
• Communicating effectively with clients, management, and team members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Show up on time and follow assigned schedules and routines.
• Operate and maintain cleaning equipment, including fryer filtration machines, vacuums, and floor cleaners.
• Perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 75 lbs. and working in high-heat environments.
• Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times.
• Provide excellent customer service and build strong relationships with clients.

Qualifications:

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical stamina to perform strenuous tasks in high-heat environments.
• Commercial kitchen experience is a plus but not required.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English) skills are a plus but not required.

Work Environment:

• Travel to client sites in company-provided vehicles.
• Work in commercial kitchens with exposure to high heat and physically demanding conditions.
