Job Summary:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Dispatcher/Scheduler to manage our dispatch operations and ensure the efficient scheduling and execution of company service appointments. The Dispatcher/Scheduler will play a key role in coordinating our field technicians, managing service requests, optimizing routes, and maintaining outstanding customer service standards. Key Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee dispatching operations, including scheduling service appointments, coordinating field technicians, and optimizing routes for efficiency.
Ensure timely and accurate communication with customers regarding service appointments, updates, and any changes to scheduling.
Monitor technician performance and productivity, providing guidance and support as needed to ensure service quality and customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with the operations team to prioritize service requests, allocate resources effectively, and maintain service standards.
Maintain systems for tracking service requests, technician availability, and job statuses to ensure accurate record-keeping and reporting.
Resolve scheduling conflicts, emergencies, or customer issues in a timely and professional manner.
Continuously evaluate and improve dispatching processes and procedures to enhance efficiency, productivity, and customer service.
Provide guidance on best practices, customer service protocols, and operational procedures.
Ensure that quotes are generated accurately, updating existing services as per training process, enhancing existing information, and ensuring accuracy of accounts.
Must be able to be cross-trained and fill in for another department when needed.

Experience:
Proven experience in dispatching and scheduling, preferably in the service or maintenance industry.
Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage competing priorities effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members, technicians, and customers.
Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and quality in all aspects of work.
Proficiency in computer systems and software applications, including dispatching software, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions in fast-paced and high-pressure situations.
Knowledge of grease trap systems, restaurant fire safety, and environmental regulations is a plus.
Skills typically required for this role include attention to detail, strong communication skills, proficiency in accounting software, ability to prioritize and meet deadlines, and a customer-focused mindset.
