Responsibilities
- Operate and drive a tractor-trailer to transport goods safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload freight, ensuring proper handling and securing of cargo.
- Navigate routes effectively while adhering to traffic laws and regulations.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and communicate with dispatch regarding any issues.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL A license
- Experience with tractor-trailer operations
- Familiarity with loading and unloading freight
- Previous delivery driver experience
- Ability to operate forklifts and various truck types, including box trucks and vans
- Strong route driving skills and safety awareness
