The Supply Chain Planner will work closely with our suppliers and internal teams to manage our end-to-end supply chain. This role will be responsible for forecasting demand, managing inventory levels, and purchasing raw materials to ensure product availability for our retail partners. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate across many teams to maximize supply chain efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain demand forecasts based on sales data, market trends, and historical performance.
- Analyze inventory levels, sales velocity, and supply chain constraints to minimize stockouts and overstock.
- Monitor inventory levels and adjust orders based on demand fluctuations and seasonal trends.
- Manage relationships with suppliers to ensure on time and accurate delivery of material.
- Prepare reports and dashboards to track forecast accuracy and available inventory levels.
- Partner with operations and production teams to address constraints impacting inventory flow.
- Support new product launches with demand forecasting and stock planning.
- Review historical sales trends, research and document demand drivers to improve forecast accuracy.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 2 years experience in Demand Planning or Supply Planning
- Proficient in inventory management concepts with an understanding of the financial and operational implications of planning decisions
- Excel proficiency including experience with data manipulations – Lookups, PivotTables, External Data Connections
- Basic SQL and/or Python experience is a plus
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
