Order Picker Summary:
The Order Picker plays a vital role in ensuring the accurate and timely shipment of parts to the correct locations. This position is responsible for picking, packing, and shipping parts while maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.
Order Picker Key Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick, pack, and prepare parts for shipment.
- Process shipping paperwork and operate computerized shipping/labeling systems.
- Receive, count, stock, and restock inventory as needed.
- Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
- Perform receiving functions, including inspecting and verifying incoming shipments.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as assigned.
Order Picker Qualifications & Experience:
- High School Diploma or (GED, or equivalent high school certification).
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a shipping, warehouse, or distribution environment.
- Basic computer skills; experience with inventory management systems preferred.
Order Picker Skills & Abilities:
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining accuracy.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Dependable, with a strong sense of responsibility and teamwork.
- Positive attitude and professional work ethic.
- Physically capable of bending, lifting up to 50 lbs., pushing/pulling up to 75 lbs.,
- Standing for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with exposure to elevated temperatures, dust, and noise.

- Warehouse/manufacturing setting with frequent movement of parts and equipment
