Skilled Assembler Position Summary:
The Skilled Assembler is responsible for the assembly of fabricated parts and other components to relatively medium or heavy sub-assemblies and complete units.
Skilled Assembler Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assembles components of or final production using sub-assemblies, parts, and fasteners
- Tests and calibrates parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications
- Uses hand tools and small power tools to assemble units
- Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job
- Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment
- Required to comply with all safety regulations
Skilled Assembler Experience and Education:
- High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate)
- Experience using power tools and small hand tools
- 1 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment
Skilled Assembler Physical Demands:
- Physical bending, twisting, and turning
- Lifting (60 lbs.)
- Withstanding long periods of time on the shop floor
- Ability to tolerate elevated temperatures, dust, and noise levels
6:00 AM - 2:30 PM Monday - Friday
