Skilled Assembler Position Summary :

The Skilled Assembler is responsible for the assembly of fabricated parts and other components to relatively medium or heavy sub-assemblies and complete units.

Skilled Assembler Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Assembles components of or final production using sub-assemblies, parts, and fasteners
  • Tests and calibrates parts and mechanisms to meet tolerances and product specifications
  • Uses hand tools and small power tools to assemble units
  • Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job
  • Responsible for maintaining a clean and safe work environment
  • Required to comply with all safety regulations

Skilled Assembler Experience and Education :

  • High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate)
  • Experience using power tools and small hand tools
  • 1 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment

    • Skilled Assembler Physical Demands :

  • Physical bending, twisting, and turning
  • Lifting (60 lbs.)
  • Withstanding long periods of time on the shop floor
  • Ability to tolerate elevated temperatures, dust, and noise levels

    • 6 : 00 AM - 2 : 30 PM Monday - Friday
