What are the responsibilities and job description for the Restaurant Hostess position at Fin restaurant?
Fin is a fine dining seafood restaurant located in the heart of Dennis Village. We are open for dinner service only, Tuesday through Sunday and closed Mondays, and seasonally from May through the end of September. We're currently seeking restaurant hosts to join our 2025 season!
Experience is not required for the hostess position but is a plus.
Requirements and duties of host:
-Dinner service from 4pm-close.
-Has a flexible schedule.
-Must be able to work until Labor Day weekend.
-Willing to learn our Resy system technology for reservations.
-Assists other front of the house personnel as much as possible and therefore earns additional tips.
-Ability to climb stairs as we are located in a two-story antique home.
-Maintains a friendly, professional and positive demeanor.
-Comfortable greeting and interacting with guests over the phone and in person.
-Remains calm under pressure and is able to function well in a fast-paced environment.
-Reliable transportation & must already have housing in order.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
