Job Summary
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships with children and families in programs.
- Implement a designated parent education/involvement curriculum model, and work with parents to support and enhance their role.
- Support and partner with parents with positive role modeling. Help parents build necessary skills that supports growth in development and education.
- Make referrals to outside agencies and follow up on referrals, as appropriate.
- Plan field trips appropriate for program needs.
- Assist parents with completing their scheduled Evaluations as ordered.
- Use community resources to find parenting classes for Parents.
- Assist with obtaining employment and maintaining stable housing.
- Assist with budgeting and Transportation as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree required
- Experience with children in child welfare
- Excellent communication skills
- CPR certification preferred
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in social work or a related field
- Experience working with children in a professional capacity
- Knowledge of child protective services and child welfare systems
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
Work Location: In person
