Lead Driver / Trainer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Driver Trainer to join our team. As a Driver Trainer, you will be responsible for training and evaluating drivers on 26' box trucks. This is a vital role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of our transportation operations.

Responsibilities :

• Conduct training sessions for new and existing drivers on safe driving techniques, vehicle operation, and company policies and procedures.
• Provide hands-on training in operating 26' box trucks.
• Instruct drivers on proper loading and unloading procedures to ensure cargo safety.
• Teach defensive driving techniques and promote adherence to traffic laws and regulations.
• Monitor trainees' progress and provide constructive feedback for improvement.
• Administer written and practical exams to evaluate trainees' knowledge and skills.
• Collaborate with management to develop training materials and update existing training programs as needed.
• Stay updated on industry regulations, best practices, and technological advancements related to commercial vehicle operation.
