Position Summary
This position is responsible for consolidating and analyzing data for the presentation and monitoring of all City department operating budgets and for providing an overview of the financial status of operations; identifying trends that may provide opportunity for improved efficiencies or could be problematic; administering and controlling assigned department budget functions including evaluation and reporting of key performance measures.

Minimum Education, Experience And Additional Requirements
Education and experience directly related to the minimum requirements below may be interchangeable on a year for year basis.
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in economics, accounting, public administration or business administration; and
Six (6) years of experience in a budget analysis or financial analysis.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Possession of a valid New Mexico Driver's License or the ability to obtain by date of hire.
Possession of a City Operator's Permit (COP) within six (6) months from date of hire.
