What are the responsibilities and job description for the Credit Administration Analyst position at Finance Factors Ltd?
PRIMARY PURPOSE:
Responsible for assisting and providing centralized support for the various functions performed by the Credit Administration Department including but not limited to loan grading, loan modifications, cash flow analysis, property valuations, loan account adjustments, asset quality reports, regulatory reporting requirements including CECL, and maintaining the list of approved appraisers and mortgage brokers.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMEN
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
- Proficient in PC-based word processing and Excel, including experience with pivot tables.
- Previous work experience and knowledge in accounting and/or financial statement analysis preferred.
- Familiarity with banking products and/or real estate financing is an advantage.
- Previous work experience and knowledge of CECL reporting requirements preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced working environment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Analyze financial statements and prepare financial spreads and cash flow analysis.
- Complete the analysis and preparation of loan regrades and property valuations for existing accounts.
- Assists with the analysis and preparation and processing of loan modification requests for existing accounts.
- Assists with the analysis and processing of various types of loan account adjustments, statements, and reports.
- Tests and validates new core system enhancements.
- Assists with the analysis and creation of various internal asset quality and regulatory reports for the company, including CECL and stress testing of the loan portfolio.
- Provides backup coverage for the Credit Administration Officer and Credit Administration Coordinator positions when needed.
