Maxime’s is the newest opening from the club owner and entrepreneur Robin Birley; owner of prestigious private member’s clubs 5 Hertford Street and Oswald’s in London.
Opening early this year, Maxime’s is located on Madison Avenue, New York on the site of the former Westbury Hotel and will continue the long-established Birley tradition of providing exceptional experiences for our members and guests.

The Inventory Coordinator will focus on supporting the tracking of food stock and purchases of Maxime’s by ensuring timely order processing and quick query resolution. This role involves close collaboration with the kitchen and front-of-house team, liaising with suppliers to ensure seamless operations.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
F&B Enterprise Management
- Demonstrate solid understanding of the Stock system (Tevalis)
- Update pricing and create new products
- Track and record product & price discrepancies for all food & beverage suppliers
- Work closely with Suppliers; becoming the primary contact for general supplier maintenance
- Match signed delivery notes and invoices and approve on Tevalis
- Raise credit notes as required
- Ensure all orders are loaded onto Tevalis by working day two ahead of the month end close
- Manage transfers within Tevalis prior to the monthly stock count
- Load stock count as part of the month end
- Work closely with the IT Manager to troubleshoot issues by leveraging knowledge of system integrations
Business partnering
- Work as a liaison between the Kitchen and Finance teams assisting in a smooth month end close
- Report on insights from stock and purchase analysis to affected stakeholders including analysis of expected margins vs actual margins
- Collaborate with business partners to help them drive business decisions
- Assisting the Executive Chef and Finance team in general ongoing administration and analysis
- Experience with Tevalis or similar EPOS
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to prioritize, be nimble, and self-directed in a highly fluid and rapidly changing environment
- Approachable knowing Customer Service is at the forefront of all areas of the business
- Proactive with confidence in problem solving and collaboration
- Co-operation, dedication and supportive to all stakeholders
- Worked in a fast paced Hospitality, Retail or FMCG environment
- Ability to be flexible with job demands and open-minded when being asked to complete tasks
- Ability to operate and use all equipment necessary to run the restaurant
- Ability to handle stress under pressure
- Ability to move or handle equipment throughout the restaurant generally weighing 0-50 pounds
- Ability to work varied hours/days as business dictates
- Ability to stand for up to 8-10 hours a day
