Purpose of Role :
Responsible for designing user experiences across our digital application process. Collaborates closely with product, marketing, content, and data teams to design and optimize user interfaces, improve user engagement, and create frictionless experiences that accelerate growth. Plays a critical role in testing new design concepts, identifying user behavior trends, and helping to enhance the overall user journey-from the beginning of their journey all the way to funding.
Expectations :
- Drives the end-to-end design process, from research and initial concept ideation to final product implementation, ensuring a seamless and user-centered experience across all touchpoints.
- Designs user-centric interfaces that drive measurable growth across key metrics, such as user acquisition, cycle times, and engagement.
- Partners with cross-functional teams, including product managers, engineers, marketing, and the content team, to conceptualize and execute design solutions that align with growth initiatives.
- Conducts user research, usability testing, and A / B testing to inform design decisions and optimize user flows for better conversion rates.
- Utilizes data and user insights to iterate on designs, ensuring an optimized and seamless user experience.
- Seeks out, understands, incorporates, and communicates qualitative and quantitative feedback throughout the design process.
- Contributes to and helps maintain Symphony, FOA's design system, by proposing improvements and articulating guidelines and best practices that promote design consistency, scalability, and brand expression across our digital touchpoints.
- Participates in weekly design critiques to continually improve the quality of customer experiences.
- Collaborates with the brand and content team to ensure consistency in brand messaging and visual identity across all channels.
- Works closely with the growth team to analyze user behavior data and identify pain points, opportunities, and solutions to enhance user journeys.
- Stays updated on industry trends, competitor products, and best practices in UX design and growth strategies to bring new ideas and fresh perspectives to the table.
- Advocates for user needs and ensure that the user experience is central to growth strategies.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Compensation
The base salary range for this position is ($140,000 - $160,000) inclusive of all geographical differences in the labor market. The base salary for the position will be determined based on factors such as the candidate's work location, skills, education, and experience. In addition to those factors, we believe in the importance of pay equity and consider the internal equity of our current team members in determining any final offer.
