What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Accountant position at Financial Additions, Inc.?
Financial Additions has partnered with a manufacturing company in search of a Sr. Accountant. This role is direct hire and fully in office and doesn't offer any hybrid or remote work.
Position will be responsible for:
- Perform account reconciliations
- Month-end and year-end close processes
- Develop, document, and maintain policies and procedures
- Perform accounting research and communicate conclusions to the relevant parties
- Analyze financial reports and report findings
- Perform calculations necessary to record journal entries
- Prepare financial statements and general financial reporting as required by the business
- Assist with the preparation of the budget and analyze actual performance against the budget
- Assist in providing information for all audits: financial statement, bank, insurance, benefits, tax, etc.
Background should include:
- 3-5 years of full cycle accounting
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Must have strong MS Excel skills
- Experience with MS Finance is a plus but not required.
