Position Summary:
We are seeking a strategic and operationally focused Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our leadership team. The ideal candidate will bring deep experience in distribution and supply chain environments, with a strong track record of driving operational efficiency, leading ERP implementations, and scaling financial infrastructure to support growth. This role requires a hands-on leader who can partner cross-functionally to drive profitability, improve processes, and enhance systems and data visibility.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Strategy & Leadership
- Serve as a key advisor to the CEO and executive team on financial and operational strategy.
- Lead all financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and analysis to support data-driven decision making.
- Manage cash flow, capital structure, and working capital to ensure optimal liquidity and performance.
- Oversee accounting, finance, treasury, and risk management functions.
Operational Oversight
- Partner with operations and supply chain leaders to streamline distribution processes, reduce costs, and improve performance metrics (e.g., inventory turns, order fulfillment, margins).
- Implement KPIs and dashboards to improve visibility into operations and drive accountability across departments.
- Play a key role in optimizing pricing strategies, vendor negotiations, and logistics management.
ERP & Systems Implementation
- Lead the selection, implementation, and optimization of a modern ERP system to integrate finance, inventory, and operations.
- Champion digital transformation initiatives, including automation and data analytics tools to improve efficiency and insight.
- Ensure system alignment with business goals and support end-to-end process improvements.
Team Leadership & Development
- Build and lead a high-performing finance and accounting team with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Foster a culture of transparency, collaboration, and results-driven performance.
- Provide mentorship and development opportunities across the organization.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or MBA preferred.
- 10 years of progressive finance leadership experience, with at least 5 years in a CFO or senior finance role in a distribution or operations-intensive business.
- Proven experience leading ERP implementations (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar).
- Strong business acumen and ability to translate financial data into operational strategies.
- Exceptional communication and leadership skills.
Salary : $190,000 - $220,000
