Mission Assignment :
The Sales Representative is a key role and is responsible for finding and attracting new business to our existing portfolio. This role generates revenue by selling financial services and tools designed to benefit motor carriers, which is achieved by self-generating sales leads to solicit via phone.
Roles & Responsibilities :
- Self-sources sales leads and documents all sales activities.
- Maintains an understanding of the competitive landscape and can clearly and confidently articulate the benefits of working with Financial Carrier Services over our competition.
- Negotiates favorable pricing and contractual terms with motor carriers in accordance with company guidelines.
- Continuous outbound cold calling (over the phone) with the goal of converting prospects to new clients.
- Present benefits of products / services to prospective clients.
- Monitors personal performance and effectively manages personal pipeline to ensure all sales goals are consistently met or exceeded.
- Profiles motor carriers to obtain their current business objectives and then positions our services and tools to help them achieve their business objectives (i.e., consultative selling).
- Maintains complete and accurate records.
- Responds to all client communications and notates all interactions.
- Communicates any obstacles, questions, or concerns to their leader.
- Promotes a positive workplace environment.
- Adheres to all company and departmental policies, procedures, and service standards
- Meets or exceeds all documented goals.
