The Expertise We’re Looking For :

Bachelor’s degree in accounting (Required)

1 years of prior tax preparation & accounting Experience (Required)

Proficiency in tax preparation software and tools (Required)

Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite, including Excel (Required)

Prior experience working in financial services Industry (Preferred)

Key Traits of a Successful Accountant :

Able to communicate verbally and in writing

Ability to manage multiple tasks positively and proactively under tight deadlines

Exceptional levels of attention to detail and accuracy

High level of problem solving and organizational skills

Ability to work in a team environment and foster great client and staff relationships

What You Will Be Responsible For :

Prepare federal and state individual and corporate, fiduciary / trust tax returns, including estimates

Prepare and understand monthly financial statements

Conduct account analysis to ensure accuracy and compliance with tax laws

Assist clients with tax planning and consulting services

Be able to research accounting and tax issues

Stay up to date with changes in tax laws and regulations

Complete projects in a timely manner with accuracy

All other duties as assigned

Pay : Starting pay $50,000-$60,000 DOE
