Part Time will grow into a full time role....this is remote with several days per month visiting construction sites

We are a small Security Consulting firm located in Waltham Massachusetts and Providence Rhode Island. We assist clients with their security needs including assessments, design for construction, and operations and maintenance. We are looking for an individual to assist in tracking and growing our business.
We are looking to bring on a new team member part time to start. The Administrative Assistant who is loyal and focused, dedicated and quick on their feet is the ideal candidate. A fantastic candidate would have technical knowledge and experience.
Some Tasks and Responsibilities you may be working on:
- Assist in performing security assessments, create reports and document results.
- Assist in developing construction documents in phases.
- Assist in monthly reporting and tracking.
- Organize shared project calendars for multiple projects and communicate upcoming deadlines well in advance.
- Developing and formatting documents to meet schedules.
- Work with outside design teams to coordinate work.
- Assist in writing reports and narratives.
- Assist with invoicing and communicate with book keeper.
- Track project hours.
Some Qualifications and Skills
- (REQUIRED) Strong work ethic a must have.
- (REQUIRED) Self-motivated, honest, hardworking individual with the ability to take notes to record meetings and project information.
- (REQUIRED) Ability to take direction and be very organized. Multi-tasking helpful.
- (REQUIRED) Skilled with standard MS Office tools including excel, word, 365 Outlook email tools, PowerPoint, laptops/computers, and/or standard business tools and apps.
- (REQUIRED) Willingness to learn and track tasks.
- (NICE TO HAVE) Technical and writing skills a plus (including reports, meeting notes and narratives).
- (REQUIRED) Take project notes both in person and on remote calls and meetings.
- Some travel will be required.
- (NICE TO HAVE) Experience with electronic security system platforms/technologies (Systems training by security manufacturers would be helpful).
- (REQUIRED) Ability to take direction and work collaboratively.
- (REQUIRED) Ability to pass CORI checks, background checks and drug screening.
- (REQUIRED) US Citizen, with current driver’s license.
- (REQUIRED)The ability to occasionally walk and/or stand for extended periods of time, often in outdoor environments.
- (REQUIRED AND NICE TO HAVE) Basic business acumen and the ability to understand and support client relationships.
- (NICE TO HAVE) Experience in Technology, Security Integration or Low Voltage Systems a plus.
Salary : $30 - $40
