Senior Financial Advisor with Reston, VA based financial planning firm is seeking an experienced Client Service Associate to help serve the 100 families that have entrusted us with their financial futures. These families are the nicest group of people you could ever hope to serve.
We are seeking a Client Service Associate that enables us to deliver a consistently positive client experience as it relates to their money. We strive to be the first people (outside of family) our clients think to call whenever they are having their best day and want to share it or conversely their worst fears have been realized and they call for our help and support.
In-office role: five hours a day, five days a week.
Responsibilities
- Manage the client financial review process for our clients. Proactive client contact to schedule them for Financial Review meetings. Assist both client and advisor with review meeting preparation.
- Pleasantly persistent in scheduling meetings with new and existing clients.
- Take ownership of client service requests related to their insurance and investments and follow through to full resolution in a manner that exceeds client expectation.
- Updating and maintain Client Relationship Management software as well as other databases to ensure accuracy of the data.
- Assist with documentation, notes and action items that come out of client meetings to ensure client commitments are completed in a timely manner.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
- 2 – 3 years of financial services industry experience in a client service role.
- Positive attitude and an extraordinary client service orientation. Enjoy solving problems for others.
- Detail-oriented, efficient time management, and organizational skills
- Superior interpersonal, oral, and written communications skills
- Advanced proficiency using the Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc)
- Experience using CRM software
- Experience with project management and process improvement.
- Existing life/health insurance license or willingness to get licensed.
- Veterans and retired military welcome to apply.

- Bachelor’s degree.
Preferred
- Experience using the Pershing platform
- Experience with eMoney Advisor software
- Life/LTD insurance underwriting experience
