A well-established and growing credit union is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead its financial operations and strategic growth. This is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing financial management, regulatory compliance, and risk assessment within a dynamic credit union environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute financial strategies to drive long-term stability and growth.
- Oversee accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting processes.
- Ensure compliance with NCUA regulations, GAAP standards, and internal policies.
- Manage asset and liability functions to optimize financial performance.
- Lead financial risk management, audits, and internal controls.
- Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership and the Board.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders to enhance operational and financial efficiencies.
Qualifications:
- Credit union experience is required.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or MBA preferred).
- 5 years of senior financial leadership experience within a credit union or financial institution.
- Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance, financial reporting, and risk management.
- Proven leadership and strategic planning abilities.
- Exceptional analytical, communication, and decision-making skills.
