Job Description
Credit Union is hiring a Regional Branch Manager to lead and oversee operations across multiple branches. This role includes managing an assigned branch and supervising branch managers at two additional locations. The focus is on coaching, inspiring, and motivating teams to achieve the Credit Union's vision, mission, and performance goals. By fostering a culture of excellence, this leader ensures exceptional member experiences, strong performance metrics, and operational efficiency. The Regional Branch Manager also acts as a key liaison between branch staff and executives, driving communication, collaboration, and strategic growth.
Essential Functions & Responsibilities
Develop Branch Personnel
- Mentor, coach, train, and address areas for improvement to help managers and branch staff reach their full potential.
- Assist managers in resolving personnel issues with strategies for improvement and corrective action.
Liaison Responsibilities
- Serve as the connection between branch employees and executives, maintaining open communication and sharing feedback.
- Implement operational changes, analyze data, and make recommendations to executives regarding branch processes, incentive plans, and operations.
Engagement and Representation
- Actively participate in branch sales, business development events, member appreciation activities, and team meetings.
- Represent the branch in relationships with members, sponsors, suppliers, and other institutions.
- Ensure a consistent, trusted member experience while boosting operational sales performance.
Training Collaboration
- Work with the training department to identify, create, and execute strategies, tools, and materials to support branch staff development.
Data Analysis
- Review and evaluate branch activity reports and logs to identify and address trends strategically.
Member Services
- Assist members with opening and closing accounts, resolving product/service issues, and identifying cross-selling opportunities.
Budget and Reporting
- Prepare the branch budget and complete monthly reports for ALICO and board meetings.
Safety and Compliance
- Ensure the safety of staff and members by enforcing all established credit union policies and procedures.
Additional Responsibilities
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Performance Measurements
- Maintain and develop a qualified team to meet member needs.
- Achieve or exceed the branch’s annual budgeted operating plan.
- Maintain or improve the financial stability of the branch.
- Meet or exceed the branch growth plan.
- Keep management informed about key operational issues.
- Actively promote products and services to attract and retain members.
Qualifications
Experience
5 years of similar or related experience in a financial institution
Education
A high school diploma or GED.
