Position: Administrative Assistant
- Location: Colorado Springs, CO (On-Site)
- Employment Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire
- Salary Range: $20.19 - $26.92 per hour
- Work Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Flexible)
- Department: Operations
- Reports To: Operations Manager
What you will do as the Administrative Assistant
As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting office operations, coordinating schedules, and ensuring smooth communication between staff, donors, and stakeholders. Your ability to anticipate needs, manage multiple tasks, and maintain organization will be essential in helping our team work efficiently and effectively.
How the Administrative Assistant will add value to the day-to-day operations
- Manage daily office operations, including scheduling, correspondence, and file organization.
- Coordinate domestic and international travel for staff, handling logistics such as airfare, accommodations, and transportation.
- Serve as the main point of contact for remote staff visiting the Colorado Springs office.
- Oversee office maintenance and supply inventory to ensure an organized, well-stocked work environment.
- Assist with onboarding new employees, including paperwork, orientation scheduling, and IT setup.
- Package, label, and coordinate shipments to donors, staff, and stakeholders.
- Provide administrative support to leadership, including drafting correspondence and maintaining records.
- Act as a liaison between staff, donors, and external partners to ensure effective communication.
- Support special projects and process improvements as assigned.

What you will need to be successful as the Administrative Assistant
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably in a nonprofit or media environment.
- Experience using Microsoft 365.
- Intermediate experience in Excel preferred.
