Salary: $40,000 to $46,000 base (plus bonus)

Customer Service Manager Responsibilities:
Receive, review and process phone calls regarding customer's insurance policies. Callers may have questions regarding the policy coverage, billing, or the need to modify the policy
Work with our clients to identify their unique situation and needs and help choose insurance plans that suit them from 20 local, regional, and national carriers.
Perform detailed insurance sales needs analysis via phone with clients, including educating the client about benefits, identifying matching plans, services, and assisting through the enrollment process.
Close sales and underwrite policies for clients, completing applications accurately.
Fully understand, abide by and stay current with all Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and IRS rules and regulations as they pertain to duties assigned.
Work with internal supervisors, managers, training staff, and customer service representatives
Successfully meet daily/weekly/monthly sales goals
Effectively demonstrate value to our customers to promote all services.
Performs other related duties as assigned
Customer Service Manager Qualifications:
Life and Health Producer license preferred, must be obtained within 90 days of employment.
Minimum 3-5 years independent agency, retail broker, or direct client support experience.
Service or Sales experience with verifiable track record of meeting goals/quotas.
Customer-first, always mentality.
Ability to make presentations to potential customers by telephone, in individual meetings or in group settings.
Excellent customer service skills and enthusiasm for helping people.
Strong technical knowledge of health insurance preferred.
Experience with various carriers and working directly with their underwriters a plus.
Prefer experience with AgencyBloc AMS software and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) but will train

Able to make cold calls for establishing new lead sources and as follow-up
