At Finastra USA Corporation, we are seeking an experienced Sales Development Representative to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a vital role in demand generation, working closely with both our Marketing and Sales teams.
Job Overview
This is an exciting lead generation opportunity for an enthusiastic individual who can build and nurture relationships with potential customers. Your job will be to seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with clients and prospects through cold calls and emails.
Responsibilities & Deliverables
- Qualify leads from marketing campaigns as sales opportunities
- Contact potential clients through cold calls and emails, maintaining a log of that activity within the company's engagement platform and CRM
- Identify client and prospect needs, suggesting appropriate products or services
- Work closely with the marketing team to ensure suitable messaging is distributed to clients
- Stay up-to-date with current industry trends, competitors, and company products and services
- Participate in user group meetings and trade shows as needed
- Participate in training programs as directed by your manager
- Maintain sales forecasting data in the company's sales reporting system
- Report on periodic sales results
Experience
- Prior experience working in the banking industry, either for a financial institution or a technology vendor, would be beneficial
- 0-2 years of inbound and/or outbound business-to-business phone marketing or sales experience
- Finastra is an English-speaking company, and Indonesian is a must-have for this role
- A track record of selling over the phone with a history of exceeding sales goals
- Account management experience is a plus
