Role Overview
The Cyber Security Program Manager reports to the Head of Information Security Programs and is responsible for ensuring that Cyber Security projects are executed in a professional, timely manner.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, execute, and finalize projects according to agreed deadlines and within budget.
- Coordinate resources and efforts of consultants and/or third-party contractors to deliver projects according to plan or apply strong change control management as required.
- Define project objectives and oversee quality control throughout its life cycle.
- Maintain good working relationships with the project team and stakeholders.
Deliverables
- Produce and maintain a project and quality plan.
- Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents.
- Establish effective project governance.
- Manage project staff and other resources assigned to the project.
- Report on project progress, problems encountered, and their solutions.
- Direct and manage project development from beginning to end.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals.
- Communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders.
- Liaise with project stakeholders on an ongoing basis.
- Estimate resources and participants needed to achieve project goals.
- Ensure proper financial management of the project.
- Identify and resolve issues and conflicts within the project team.
- Manage project dependencies and critical path.
- Plan and schedule project timelines and milestones using appropriate tools.
- Track project milestones and deliverables.
- Control project financials through an effective change control process and efficient resources management.
- Proactively manage changes in project scope.
- Evaluate and mitigate risks.
- Cultivate a positive and accountable project team environment.
- Develop and enhance best practices and tools for project execution and management.
Requirements
- PMP certification preferred.
- Experience in implementation and support of complex enterprise infrastructure, security, and/or software projects.
- Thorough understanding of project management methodologies and tools available.
- English language proficiency.
